NON-PUBLIC TOP 5

1. Bergen Catholic (4-2, last week #2)
Quarterback Johnny Langan and running backs Josh McKenzie and Rahmir Johnson combined for 275 yards on the ground as the Crusaders defeated #3 St. Peter’s Prep, 41-14. BC plays host to 4th ranked Pope John on Saturday afternoon.

2. St. Joseph (Mont.) (4-2, last week #3)
Angelo Guglielmello’s two field goals were the difference on the scoreboard as Joe’s held off #4 Pope John, 20-14. They head to Jersey City on Friday to take on 3rd ranked St. Peter’s Prep.

3. St. Peter’s Prep (4-2, last week #1)
The Marauders were outgained, 451-185, in total offensive yardage and fell to top-ranked Bergen Catholic. They face #2 St. Joseph (Mont.) at Caven Point on Friday night.

4. Pope John (5-1, last week #4)
Wide receiver Samuel Darrell caught seven passes for 44 yards and a touchdown but Pope John fell to 2nd ranked St. Joseph (Mont.).  They face a tough test in #1 Bergen Catholic on Saturday afternoon in Oradell.

5. DePaul (4-2, last week #5)
The Spartans cracked the 40-point barrier for the third time this season, and downed Delbarton, 41-14. Friday, they host a Seton Hall Prep team that is riding a two-game win streak.

PUBLIC TOP 15

1. Millville (5-0, last week #1)
Millville WR Carlton Lawrence tallied 171 yards and two touchdown catches in the Thunderbolts’ 49-14 win over Hammonton. They’ll be home against Bridgeton on Friday.

2. Timber Creek (5-0, last week #2)
After winning their first five games, the Chargers were idle. They get back to action in a home tilt with Paul VI on Friday.

3. Manalapan (6-0, last week #3)
Running back Naim Mayfield’s 273 yards and five touchdowns led the Braves to a big victory over #14 Howell, 49-28. They’ll be on the road Friday as they take on Neptune.

4. Montclair (5-0, last week #4)
Quarterback Tarrin Earle threw for three touchdowns and rushed for two more as Montclair rolled by Morristown, 56-21. The Mounties go on the road to play West Orange on Friday.

5. Vineland (5-0, last week #5)
QB Isaih Pacheco ran for three touchdowns and led the Fighting Clan to a 55-21 win over Clearview. They look to make it 6-0 at Atlantic City on Friday.

6. Old Tappan (6-0, last week #7)
Nick McNerney’s four touchdowns allowed Old Tappan to roll over Teaneck, 37-7. The Golden Knights head to Allendale on Friday to take on Northern Highlands.

7. Rancocas Valley (6-0, last week #8)
Iverson Clement returned a kick 85 yards to pay dirt as RV beat Winslow, 28-13. The Red Devils will be home to take on Notre Dame on Saturday.

8. Lenape (4-1, last week #9)
Jojo Kellum rushed for 196 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Indians to a big 49-7 win over Seneca. They’ll play at Hopewell Valley on Friday.

9. Cherokee (4-1, last week #10)
Jack Walters and Wayne Davenport connected on for two touchdowns as Cherokee beat Paul VI, 31-7. The Chiefs go on the road to play Washington Township on Friday.

10. Piscataway (4-1, last week #6)
Despite a 139-yard advantage in total offense, Piscataway lost to Old Bridge, 24-20. The Chiefs try to rebound when they host Monroe on Friday.

11. South Brunswick (4-1, last week #12)
Quarterback Felix Quinones accounted for four TDs (3 rush, 1 pass) as the Vikings downed East Brunswick, 42-13. They face division rival Sayreville on the road Friday.

12. Westfield (6-0, last week #14)
Jake Vall-Llobera rushed for two touchdowns in Westfield’s 13-6 win over Elizabeth. They go to Somerville to play Immaculata on Friday night.

13. Phillipsburg (5-0, last week #15)
After three straight games with 30+-point scoring outputs, the Stateliners had a bye. They travel to take on Montgomery on Friday night.

14. Howell (5-1, last week #13)
Eddie Morales went 22-of-36 for 330 yards, three touchdowns and three picks in Howell’s 49-28 loss to Manalapan. They try to avoid a two-game skid when they face undefeated Freehold Township at home on Friday.

15. Shawnee (3-2, last week #11)
The Renegades averaged just 3.4 yards per carry and blew an 18-point fourth quarter lead in a 25-21 loss to undefeated Camden Catholic. They will look to shake it off against Williamstown at home on Friday.
