1. St. Joseph (Mont.) (4-0, last week #2)
Nick Patti threw touchdowns to Austin Triglia and Kyle Clark as St. Joseph of Montvale, ranked #19 in the USA Today Super 25, beat Eastern Christian (MD), 24-6. The Green Knights head to Florida this week to take on another nationally ranked opponent, IMG Academy (FL), who sits at #11 in the USA Today Super 25.

2. Don Bosco Prep (3-1, last week #3)
Multiple defensive stands in their own red zone pushed Bosco to a 10-3 win over Archbishop Rummel (LA), previously ranked #24 in the USA Today Super 25. The Ironmen will be off for a week before playing Paramus Catholic on Oct. 9.

3. Bergen Catholic (2-2, last week #1)
Quarterback Jarrett Guarantano passed for 332 yards and rushed for 70, but the Crusaders dropped a 31-28 decision to St. Edward (OH), the 24th ranked team in the USA Today Super 25. They’ll host Big North United rival and #7 Paramus Catholic, on Saturday in Oradell.

4. Middletown South (3-0, last week #5)
Running back James McCarthy reached pay dirt three times as the Eagles beat Marlboro, 49-14. They’ll be on the road Friday to battle Freehold Township.

5. Red Bank Catholic (3-0, last week #7)
RBC’s defensive unit held the Scarlet Fliers to just 78 yards and helped the Caseys down Neptune, 35-0. They host Wall on Friday night at Count Basie Field.

6. St. Peter’s Prep (2-2, last week #4)
The Marauders allowed running back Sean McGrew to tally 250 offensive yards and three touchdowns as they lost to the #2 ranked team in the nation, St. John Bosco (CA), 56-14. They’ll lick their wounds for a week before kicking off HCIL competition against Ferris.

7. Paramus Catholic (1-2, last week #9)
Following its 41-17 loss to Gilman (MD), the Paladins were idle. They’ll be on the road Saturday to take on 3rd ranked Bergen Catholic.

8. St. John Vianney (3-0, last week #10)
Quarterback Anthony Brown accounted for 298 yards of offense to lead the Lancers past Central, 49-6. On Friday night, they’ll host Rumson-Fair Haven, who's posted back-to-back shutouts to open the season.

9. DePaul (1-3, last week #8)
DePaul made far too many mistakes -- in the form of 16 penalties -- in a 17-14 loss to Canisius (NY). They’ll host #3 Bergen Catholic after a week off.

10. Delsea (3-0, last week #20)
Quarterback Quinn Collins rushed for four touchdowns in Delsea’s 35-31 win over #12 Timber Creek. The Crusaders travel to Haddonfield to meet up with undefeated Paul VI on Friday night.

11. Roxbury (3-0, last week #12)
The defensive line of James Roberts, Connor Young, Na'Sear Robinson and Brandon Yaw had a big day against the Morris Knolls front five, leading the way to a 38-14 win over the Golden Eagles. They’ll be on the road to meet Morristown on Saturday.

12. Timber Creek (2-1, last week #6)
After trailing 21-7, the Chargers rallied to take a late ten-point lead, but still fell to 10th ranked Delsea 35-31. They’ll try to get back on track Friday night at Washington Township.

13. Cherokee (2-1, last week #8)
Running back Jon Lovett carried the ball five times for 91 yards and a touchdown to help the Chiefs take down Eastern, 40-0. They’ll be off this week before a huge showdown with #15 Williamstown on Oct. 9.

14. Jackson (3-0, last week #13)
Quarterback Dan Barker tossed four touchdowns as Jackson beat Southern, 42-0. They’ll play their second game of a three straight road games on Friday against undefeated Brick Township, who's allowed just 6 points all season while posting back-to-back shutouts.

15. Williamstown (3-0, last week #17)
Tyrick Glenn’s three touchdowns paced Williamstown as it beat Cherry Hill East, 40-0. The Braves host Pennsauken on Friday night.

16. Pascack Valley (3-0, last week #15)
Colin Dedrick went 10-of-16 for 248 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Indians to a victory over West Milford, 35-0. PV hosts Wayne Hills on Friday in a battle of unbeatens.

17. St. Augustine Prep (3-0, last week #16)
Running back Kyle Dobbins rushed for four touchdowns as the Hermits defeated Atlantic City, 41-12. They play host to winless Ocean City on Friday in Richland.

18. Manalapan (3-0 last week #17)
The Braves returned a kick, a punt and an interception for a score as they took down Sayreville, 47-27. They’ll travel to play Middletown North on Friday night.

19. West Deptford (3-0, last week #18)
The West Deptford run game generated 476 yards as the Eagles rolled past Haddon Heights, 62-8. They’ll head to Pine Hill this week for a showdown with Overbrook.

20. Old Tappan (3-0, last week #19)
Running back Zachary DeNike scored two touchdowns in the Golden Knights’ 66-7 drubbing of Demarest. They’ll be in Massachusetts this weekend to play Triton Regional (MA).
