1. Bergen Catholic (6-1, last week #1): BC overcame four turnovers in Lion territory to beat Pope John, 14-6. Paramus Catholic comes to Oradell to meet the Crusaders on Saturday.
2. DePaul (5-1, last week #2): Quarterback Ta’Quan Roberson tossed four touchdown passes in a 44-19 DePaul victory over Hudson Catholic. They’ll be in Wayne hosting Don Bosco Prep Friday.
3. St. Peter’s Prep (5-2, last week #3): Quarterback Maasai Maynor’s five touchdown passes led the Marauders to a 42-0 victory over Paramus Catholic. They’ll be in Sparta battling Pope John Saturday.
4. St. Joseph (Mont.) (5-2, last week #4): Defensive end Howard Cross and the Green Knights’ front four slowed the Don Bosco Prep running game all night in a 31-10 win. They host Seton Hall Prep Saturday.
5. Red Bank Catholic (6-0, last week #5): After beating Long Branch, 41-14, to win the Shore Conference Freedom Division crown last week, the Caseys were idle. They go on the road to meet Rumson-Fair Haven Friday night.

1. Williamstown (7-0, last week #1): The Braves defense held its opponent touchdown-less for the fourth consecutive game as Williamstown defeated Washington Township, 34-3. They go on the road Friday to face struggling Shawnee.
2. Piscataway (6-0; last week #2): Running back Juwon Jackson ran for 235 yards and two touchdowns to lead Piscataway past Bridgewater-Raritan, 47-0. The play the first of back-to-back away games Friday night at Sayreville.
3. Somerville (6-0; last week #3): Quarterback Jalahn Dabney rushed for 209 yards and three touchdowns in Somerville’s 34-20 victory over Warren Hills. The Mid-State 38 Mountain Division champs go on the road to take on Montgomery Friday.
4. Ramapo (7-0; last week #4): Wide receiver Max Baker had seven catches for 113 yards and a score and also rushed for a three-yard touchdown in Ramapo’s 38-22 triumph over Wayne Hills. They head to Hillsdale to face Pascack Valley Friday.
5. Rumson-Fair Haven (6-0; last week #6): The Bulldogs cracked the 40-point barrier for the fourth time this year, beating Lakewood, 47-7. They host undefeated Red Bank Catholic Friday night.
6. Sayreville (6-0; last week #8): Running back Connor Holmes rushed 19 times for 175 yards and a touchdown as the Bombers outlasted Old Bridge, 30-7. They play host to rival Piscataway Friday.
7. Union (6-1; last week #9): Receiver Ahmirr Robinson had three catches for 105 yards and a score as Union beat Hunterdon Central, 28-10. They’re home Friday for a date with Watchung Hills.
8. Union City (5-1; last week #10): Running back Jean Alvarez ran for 171 yards and two touchdowns in a 20-7 victory over Shawnee. They’ll be back home after the long trip to Medford to host North Bergen Friday night.
9. Phillipsburg (6-1; last week #11): Quarterback Jack Stagaard went 10-of-13 for 267 yards in the Stateliners’ 42-14 win over Westfield. They’ll be on the road facing Ridge on Friday.
10. River Dell (6-1; last week #12): The Golden Hawks pulled away from Pascack Valley for a 38-21 win on quarterback Mike Sirico’s 19-yard fourth quarter touchdown pass to running back Dave Fletcher. They’ll host Paramus on Friday night.
11. Wayne Hills (5-2; last week #7): Quarterback Tom Sharkey through a touchdown and a pick in Hills’ loss to Ramapo. They go on the road to face Passaic County Tech Friday.
12. Haddonfield (6-0, last week #14): After a victory over West Deptford, Haddonfield was idle. They get back to action in a road meeting with Collingswood Friday night.
13. Brick Township (4-2; last week #15): Quarterback Anthony Leblo’s two first-half touchdown passes paced the Green Dragons in their 42-14 win over Lacey. They head to Jackson to face the 5-1 Jaguars Friday.
14. Linden (6-1, last week unranked): The Linden defense has allowed 31 points over the course of five straight wins, with its latest win coming in the form of a 14-0 shutout of South Plainfield. They face Hillsborough at home Friday.
15. Paramus (7-0, last week unranked): After a thrilling overtime win over Ridgewood, Paramus rolled over Demarest, 52-7, this week. The Spartans are on the road at River Dell Friday.
