1. St. Peter’s Prep (4-1, last week #1)
Quarterback Maasai Maynor ran in a two-point conversion with 2:26 to play to propel the Marauders, who had trailed 21-7, to a 22-21 win over DePaul. They go on the road Saturday to do battle with #2 Bergen Catholic.
2. Bergen Catholic (3-2, last week #2)
Fresh off back-to-back victories over Paramus Catholic and St. Joseph (Mont.), BC had a bye in Week 5. They get back on the field against top-ranked St. Peter’s Prep on Saturday.
3. St. Joseph (Mont.) (3-2, last week #3)
Nick Patti hit tight end Matt Alaimo with a late touchdown to push the Green Knights past Don Bosco Prep, 16-15. They welcome fellow Non-Public, Group 3 contender and 4th ranked Pope John to Montvale on Saturday.
4. Pope John (5-0, last week unranked)
Running back Berrell Neal needed just seven attempts to pick up 93 yards and three scores in a 43-7 victory over Paramus Catholic. They head to Montvale on Saturday for a huge matchup with
#3 St. Joseph (Mont.).
5. DePaul (3-1, last week #4)
Vin DePalma rushed for 124 yards and a touchdown, but DePaul couldn’t hold on to its early least against #1 St. Peter’s Prep. They’ll lick their wounds and head to Morristown to take on Delbarton Saturday.

1. Millville (4-0, last week #1)
After back-to-back big victories over St. Augustine Prep and Williamstown, the Thunderbolts were idle. They get back to business this week when they host Hammonton.
2. Timber Creek (5-0, last week #2)
Quarterback Devin Leary went 11-of-18 for 377 yards and five touchdowns as Timber Creek steamrolled previously unbeaten Eastern, 47-3. They’ll be off this week before hosting Paul VI on Oct. 20.
3. Manalapan (5-0, last week #3)
Naim Mayfield continues to have huge performances week after week, this time rushing for 217 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-8 win over Colts Neck. They play host to #13 Howell on Friday night.
4. Montclair (4-0, last week #4)
Tarrin Earle went 10-of-15 for 211 yards and four scores to lead the Mounties to a 44-16 triumph over East Orange Campus. They welcome Morristown to Woodman Field on Saturday afternoon.
5. Vineland (4-0, last week #6)
The Fighting Clan enjoyed a bye after holding all four of its opponents to eight points or less. They go back to work at home on Saturday against Clearview.
6. Piscataway (4-0, last week #7)
Juwan Jackson’s touchdown and 143 rushing yards pushed the Chiefs past Sayreville, 12-6. They look for their 10th straight win Friday at home against Old Bridge.
7. Old Tappan (5-0, last week #8)
Nick McNerney went 6-for-6 for 170 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Golden Knights to a 43-7 win over Fair Lawn. They play host to Teaneck on Friday.
8. Rancocas Valley (5-0, last week #9)
Iverson Clement piled up 144 yards and a score to lead the Red Devils to a big 10-7 win over 9th ranked Lenape. They’ll be home Friday against Winslow.
9. Lenape (3-1, last week #5)
Fullback Mike Galaida scored the Indians' lone touchdown from a yard out in a 10-7 loss to 8th ranked Rancocas Valley. They try to bounce back when they host Seneca on Friday.
10. Cherokee (3-1, last week #10)
Quarterback Jack Walters rushed for two touchdowns and threw for a third in the Chiefs' 35-14 win over Hammonton. They play at Paul VI on Friday night.
11. Shawnee (3-1, last week #11)
Colin Wetterau went 13-of-15 for 256 yards and four touchdowns as the Renegades downed Kingsway, 42-0. Next up is a Friday night date with Camden Catholic in Medford.
12. South Brunswick (3-1, last week #12)
Quarterback Felix Quinones accounted for all of the Vikings’ points in a 21-6 win over Edison, throwing for two touchdowns and rushing for a third. They play host to East Brunswick on Friday.
13. Howell (5-0, last week #13)
Linebacker Vaughn Meehan racked up 10 tackles to lead the Rebels to a 42-3 triumph over Neptune. They host 3rd ranked Manalapan on Friday in a huge Shore Conference Class A North contest.
14. Westfield (5-0, last week #14)
A second quarter Aidan Boland extra point turned out to be the difference in the Blue Devils' 7-6 win over Union. They'll host Elizabeth on Friday as they try to add to their state-best 30-game winning streak.
15. Phillipsburg (5-0, last week #15)
Joe Green ran for 109 yards and two touchdowns and the Stateliners thrashed Watchung Hills, 35-0. Phillipsburg takes a week off before heading to Montgomery on Oct. 20.
