NON-PUBLIC

1. St. Joseph (Mont.) (2-1, last week #1)
Green Knights quarterback Nick Patti threw four touchdowns as Joe’s rolled past Delbarton, 48-0.  They’ll be off for a week before a Sept. 30 meeting with 3rd ranked Bergen Catholic.

2. St. Peter’s Prep (1-1, last week #3)
The Marauders were off this week following their loss to St. Joseph’s Prep (PA). They get back to action on Saturday at Seton Hall Prep.

3. Bergen Catholic (1-2, last week #2)
Bergen Catholic got blown out on the road, 62-14 against Mater Dei Prep (CA), the #1 team in the country according to USA Today.  The Crusaders had no answer for quarterback J.T. Daniels, who threw for 299 yards and five touchdowns. They look to snap a two-game skid on Friday night at #5 Paramus Catholic.

4. DePaul (1-1, last week #4)
After a big win over Paramus Catholic in Week 1, the Spartans were off this week. They host struggling Don Bosco Prep on Friday night in Wayne.

5. Paramus Catholic (1-1, last week #5)
Paladins quarterback Shelton Applewhite hit wide receiver Mohammed Toure for the game-winning score from 25 yards out in overtime as PC downed Seton Hall Prep, 33-30. They host 3rd ranked Bergen Catholic in an important matchup in the Non-Public, Group 4 standings.

PUBLIC

1. Millville (2-0, last week #1)
Running back Clayton Scott totaled 171 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns as the Thunderbolts beat Kingsway, 41-14. They’ll look for a huge WJFL Continental Division win on Friday at St. Augustine Prep.

2. Timber Creek (3-0, last week #2)
Running back Jerome Gibson carried the ball 23 times for 168 yards and a touchdown to lead Timber Creek past Cherokee, 35-28. They travel to take on Clearview on Friday night.

3. Manalapan (2-0, last week #3)
Running back Naim Mayfield starred again for the Braves, rushing for three touchdowns as they beat Southern, 35-0. They play host to Old Bridge on Saturday.

4. Montclair (2-0, last week #4)
Daniel Webb’s 124 rushing yards and four scoring sprints pushed Montclair to a 41-0 win over Livingston. The Mounties are off for a week before hosting North 1, Group 5 rival Union City on Sept. 28.

5. Lenape (2-0, last week #5)
Quarterback Matt Lajoie and wide out Jake Topolski connected for touchdowns of 26 and 44 yards as the Indians earned a dominating 49-0 win over Egg Harbor. Lenape looks to make it three in a row on Saturday at Burlington Township.

6. Vineland (2-0, last week #6)
Running back Isaih Pacheco needed just four carries to pick up 132 yards and reach the end zone twice in Vineland’s 61-6 dismantling of Cherry Hill East. The Fighting Clan look to make it 3-0 against fellow undefeated Eastern on Saturday afternoon.

7. Piscataway (2-0, last week #7)
Running back Juwon Jackson ran picked up 264 yards and four touchdowns in the Chiefs’ 35-0 win over East Brunswick. They host division rival and 9th ranked South Brunswick on Friday night.

8. Old Tappan (2-0, last week #8)
Golden Knights running back Marquez Antinori rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns to push Old Tappan past Pascack Valley, 42-6. They host Wayne Hills on Saturday.

9. South Brunswick (2-0, last week #9)
Vikings running back Thomas Joe-Kamara scored two third quarter touchdowns to lead South Brunswick past New Brunswick, 35-7. They head to Piscataway Friday to face the #7 Chiefs in a big GMC Red showdown.

10. Rancocas Valley (2-0, last week #10)
Quarterback Bryce Mangene totaled four touchdowns (two passing) to lead Rancocas Valley over Hammonton, 48-0. They host Trenton on Friday.

11. Cherokee (1-1, last week #10)
The Chiefs led going into the second and third quarters, but couldn’t close out a victory against #2 Timber Creek. The Chiefs will be on the road Friday night to battle WJFL American Division rival Kingsway.

12. Shawnee (1-1, last week #12)
Quarterback Colin Wetterau’s 85-yard fourth quarter rushing touchdown iced the Renegades’ 35-22 win over Allentown. Shawnee is home Friday to host Washington Township.

13. Bridgewater-Raritan (2-0, last week #13)
The Panthers stopped what would’ve been a go-ahead two-point conversion with less than two minutes on the clock to defeat Hillsborough, 31-30. They play host to Phillipsburg on Friday.

14. Howell (2-0, last week #14)
The Howell defense picked off talented Freehold Boro QB Ashante Worthy four times in the Rebels’ 55-35 victory on Friday. They look to go 3-0 for the first time in seven years when they host a strong Middletown North team on Saturday.

15. Westfield (2-0, last week unranked)
Blue Devils running back Tim Alliegro piled up 195 rushing yards as Westfield beat Ridge for its 27th straight victory, 23-7. They head to Franklin to take on the Warriors on Friday night.
