1. St. Peter’s Prep (2-0)
Wide receiver Jorge Portorreal caught two touchdowns and returned a punt to the house from 84 yards out as the Marauders beat Peddie, 43-26. They host Seton Hall Prep Saturday afternoon.

2. Bergen Catholic (3-0)
The BC pass rush had a night for the ages, recording seven sacks en route to a 21-7 victory over DePaul. The Crusaders welcome Paramus Catholic to Oradell Saturday night.

3. Paramus Catholic (3-0)
Andrew Brito threw three touchdown passes and PC beat Seton Hall Prep, 42-20. They take on Bergen Catholic in Oradell Saturday.

4. St. Joseph (Mont.) (2-1)
Running back Jordan Scott rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns as St. Joseph (Mont.) took down Delbarton, 28-14. They host Eastern Christian (MD) Saturday in Montvale.

5. St. Augustine Prep (3-0)
Running back Kyle Dobbins carried the ball 32 times for 180 yards and a score to push the Hermits past Williamstown, 48-10. They are on the road Friday to take on Millville.

PUBLIC TOP 15

1. Toms River North (2-0, last week #1)
Mike Husni 12-of-17 for 239 yards and three touchdowns and North downed Brick Memorial, 45-12. The Mariners host #13 Brick Township Saturday afternoon.

2. Timber Creek (2-0, last week #2)
Wide receiver Ezrah Archie caught 12 passes for 183 yards and three scores and the Chargers beat Cherokee, 28-21. Timber Creek welcomes Clearview to town Friday night.

3. Middletown South (2-0, last week #3)
Maxx Imsho caught two touchdowns as Middletown South defeated Ocean Township, 37-22. The Eagles will be on the road Saturday to battle Manasquan.

4. Montclair (2-0, last week #4)
Quarterback Tarrin Earle threw for 194 yards and two scores in Montclair’s 56-0 win over Livingston. The Mounties will be idle this week before battling Union City on Sept. 30.

5. Cedar Creek (2-0, last week #5)
Running back Isaiah Watson accounted for over 230 yards of offense as Cedar Creek took down Delsea, 28-21. They head to Ocean City to take on the Raiders Friday night.  

6. Old Bridge (2-0, last week #6)
Running back Nick Sodano churned out 118 yards and three touchdowns as the Knights beat Monroe, 35-14. Next up for Old Bridge is a showdown with Manalapan Friday night.

7. Ridgewood (2-0, last week #7)
Zach Feagles’ 118 yards on the ground paced the Maroons in their win over Paramus, 24-7. They’ll play host to Clifton Friday night.

8. Piscataway (2-0, last week #8)
The Chiefs got 193 rushing yards and three scores out of Elijah Barnwell as they beat East Brunswick, 32-7. They’ll head to South Brunswick to take on the 14th-ranked Vikings Friday evening.

9. Westfield (2-0, last week #10)
Phillip Martini and Mike Moriarty connected on two touchdowns to spearhead Westfield’s 35-21 win over Ridge. The Blue Devils welcome Franklin to their turf Saturday.

10. Wayne Hills (2-1, last week #9)
Brandon Devera tossed five touchdowns to hold off Roxbury, 42-35. They play host to Old Tappan Friday night.

11. West Deptford (2-0, last week #11)
Running back Anthony Seas scored three times to lift the Eagles to a win over Willingboro, 33-7. They visit Overbook this week for a Saturday showdown with the Rams.

12. Shawnee (2-0, last week #13)
Dan Wigley’s 152 rushing yards led Shawnee to win over Allentown, 17-10. They play their first road game of the year Friday night as the travel to take on Washington Township.

13. Brick Township (2-0, last week unranked)
Defensive end Josh Garrett blocked two Jackson punts to spark a 29-6 Brick victory over Jackson. They’ll go on the road to meet top-ranked Toms River North Saturday.

14. South Brunswick (1-1, last week #14)
QB Josh Liao rushed for touchdowns and threw another as the Vikings downed New Brunswick, 21-7. They host #8 Piscataway Friday night.

15. Bridgewater-Raritan (2-0, last week #15)
Quarterback Nick Attanasio rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers’ 30-10 victory over Hillsborough. They take to the road to meet Phillipsburg Friday.
