1. Paramus Catholic (6-0; last week #2)
Ahmad Thomas rushed for two touchdowns as the Paladins defeated #2 Don Bosco Prep, 21-14. PC hosts its fourth out-of-state opponent of the season on Oct. 24 when Eastern Christian (Md.) comes to Paramus.

2. Don Bosco Prep (3-1; last week #1)
Wide receiver R.J. Trimble-Edwards and running back Malik Bakker both reached the end zone, but the Ironmen fell to #1 Paramus Catholic, 21-14. They’ll look to rebound when they host Passaic County Tech Friday night in Ramsey.

3. St. Peter’s Prep (4-1; last week #3)
Quarterback Brandon Wimbush threw four touchdowns in the first quarter, and the Marauders beat Ferris, 63-6. They’ll play host to Bayonne Friday night at Caven Point in Jersey City.

4. St. Joseph (Hamm.) (5-0; last week #4)
The Wildcats rallied from a two-touchdown first quarter deficit to take down Steubenville (Ohio), 25-23. They finish up a string of four straight road games at Atlantic City on Friday night.

5. Bergen Catholic (4-2; last week #7)
The Crusaders trailed #7 DePaul, 14-3, in the third quarter, but rallied behind quarterback Jarrett Guarantano to beat the Spartans, 25-14. They’ll face another big test at #8 St. Joseph (Mont.) on Saturday.

6. Red Bank Catholic (5-0; last week #6)
Wide receiver/defensive back Danny Lukawski caught a touchdown pass and took a pick to the house as RBC beat Colts Neck, 56-0. They host Red Bank Friday at Count Basie Field.

7. DePaul (5-1; last week #5)
Wide receiver Hasise Dubois caught a touchdown pass in DePaul’s 25-14 loss to #5 Bergen Catholic. The Spartans rest for a week before a big showdown with #8 St. Joseph (Mont.)

8. St. Joseph (Mont.) (3-1; last week #8)
After cruising past Old Tappan, the Green Knights were idle. They will get back into action with a tough one against archrival #5 Bergen Catholic.

9. Shawnee (5-0; last week #9)
Shawnee has put up at least 35 points in all five of its games this season, most recently in a win over Cherry Hill East, 48-6. The Renegades take a week off before a de facto WJFL American title game against Cherokee.

10. Piscataway (4-0; last week #10)
Tyrell Bush’s 78-yard kickoff return touchdown sparked Piscataway to a 35-0 victory over J.P. Stevens. The Chiefs will look to win a fifth-straight when they host North Brunswick Friday.

11. Timber Creek (5-0; last week #11)
Quarterback Khalil Trotman passed for 433 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Chargers past Kingsway, 47-29. They’ll be off for a week before going on the road to meet Clearview.

12. Pascack Valley (4-1; last week #12)
Running back Jorge Cortes’ four touchdowns powered the Indians past Bergenfield, 49-7. They’ll face a tough Big North crossover matchup this week when they face Old Tappan.

13. South Brunswick (5-0; last week #15)
Three touchdowns and 204 rushing yards by running back Dontae Strickland led the Vikings to a win over East Brunswick, 40-9. They’ll try to keep it going Friday at Monroe.

14. Montclair (3-1; last week #16)
Quarterback Elijah Robinson accounted for six touchdowns (five rushing, one passing) as the Mounties beat St. Mark’s (Del.), 64-35. They head to West Orange Saturday to take on Seton Hall Prep.

15. Haddonfield (5-0; last week #17)
Running back Jake Klaus churned out 103 yards and a touchdown as the Bulldawgs beat Sterling, 17-0. Up next is a bye week, followed by a big matchup against Paulsboro.

16. Manalapan (5-0; last week #18)
Imamu Mayfield rushed for 99 yards and four scores as the Braves continued their roll with a 42-14 win over Lacey. They host a streaking Middletown South Friday night.

17. Cherokee (3-1; last week #19)
Running back Marc Woodard rushed for 200 yards and two touchdowns, and also snagged the game-sealing interception as Cherokee beat Williamstown, 41-33. The Chiefs go on the road to meet Lenape Friday night.

18. Camden (5-0; last week #20)
Wide receiver Jemir Washington hauled in a 30-yard touchdown catch from Khalil Williams and Camden downed Camden Catholic, 27-14. They host undefeated Glassboro Friday night.

19. Hillsborough (5-0; last week unranked)
Defensive end Andrew Patrizio had two sacks and led a big defensive effort for Hillsborough, which beat #20 Phillipsburg, 14-13. The Raiders host Union Friday night.

20. Phillipsburg (4-1; last week #13)
Anthony Guarino and Jake Clifford hooked up for a 23-yard touchdown but the Stateliners lost to Hillsborough, 14-13. They’ll try to avoid a two-game skid when they travel to meet Elizabeth Friday.
